Our Story
Inexpensive Wine Review was born from a simple frustration: wine recommendations always seemed to start at $30, $50, or more. But what about the rest of us? The people who want to enjoy a glass of wine without checking their bank account first?
We believe that great wine exists at every price point. You just need to know where to look. And that's exactly what we do.
What We Do
We taste-test wines from grocery stores, warehouse clubs, and budget-friendly retailers. We focus on wines under $20 (with plenty of finds under $10 and $15) and tell you which ones are worth your money.
Our Review Process
- Blind tasting: We don't know the price or producer until after we rate
- Multiple testers: We get opinions from casual drinkers and wine enthusiasts alike
- Food pairing notes: What does this wine go with?
- Occasion matching: Tuesday night dinner? Special date? We tell you.
Why "Inexpensive"?
We could have called ourselves "Cheap Wine Review," but "cheap" implies low quality. Inexpensive means accessible. It's not about price — it's about value.
We believe everyone deserves to enjoy good wine, regardless of their budget.
Affiliate Disclosure
Inexpensive Wine Review participates in affiliate marketing programs. When you click on a link to a retailer and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you.
This helps keep the site running, but it doesn't influence what we review or how we rate wines. We buy all wines with our own money unless specifically noted otherwise.
